Holywell Church of England School Vision
At Holywell, we aspire to nurture a school culture Inspired by Matthew 5:16 where all pupils, staff and members of our community are encourage to “Let their Light Shine”. We believe that through our positive relationships, together, we work in harmony — children, families, staff, governors, the wider church community and our wider school trust community — to build an outward-facing school where joy radiates through our actions, our words, and our learning. We encourage one another to shine brightly, to support one another when the light feels dim, and to celebrate the wonder of our natural surroundings.
We nurture a school culture rooted in the values of:
- Kindness, where we care for one another and offer friendship freely;
- Honesty, where truth and integrity guide our words and actions;
- Determination, where we strive to be our best, even when learning is challenging;
- Safety, where everyone feels protected, valued, and able to thrive;
- Forgiveness, where we grow through grace, offering and receiving second chances;
- Respect, where every voice is heard, every person is honoured, and diversity is celebrated.
In all we do, we seek to grow as learners, as friends, and as people of faith — shining our light to make the world a brighter place.
